Web Design for Stratford-upon-Avon Service Businesses
Domestic Duties Commercial is a cleaning company in Stratford-upon-Avon with over 15 years' experience, serving businesses across Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Like many small service businesses, it ran on phone calls, paper diaries and manual follow-ups, which worked but cost hours every week.
I built it an online booking and quoting platform: real-time availability, Stripe payments, Google Calendar sync and automated WhatsApp reminders. The aim was to give a small business the kind of tools large franchises take for granted.
What This Could Do for You
Bookings without the phone calls
Customers see real availability and book for themselves, at any hour.
Payments up front
Stripe payments taken as part of the booking, so there is less chasing afterwards.
Fewer missed appointments
Automatic reminders go out, and bookings appear in your calendar.
Quotes for bigger jobs
A quote builder for commercial work that doesn't fit a fixed price.

Edwards Jewellery
The brief said e-commerce. The conversation revealed a specialist.
Anne asked for an e-commerce website to replace a perfectly presentable Wix site. Conversations with her uncovered a much stronger proposition: a specialist bench jeweller who works personally with clients to create, restore and transform jewellery, including the inherited pieces people no longer wear. The project became discovery, positioning and content strategy as much as development, and the platform grew to support how the business actually works, from events and wedding fairs to consultations and a private client area.

Starstruck
From a dance-school website to the platform the school runs on
What began as a new website for Starstruck Performing Arts became a closer look at how the school runs online. The result is a bespoke platform that takes a family from first enquiry to the class register: local search, enrolment, term billing, parent and tutor portals, targeted communications, a shop and event tickets, all on infrastructure Starstruck owns. Bringing class management and payments in-house removed around £5,000 a year in platform charges.
Web Design in Stratford-upon-Avon: Common Questions
Can a small business really have its own booking system?
- Yes. Domestic Duties is a small company, and its platform was built around how it already works. I'll also tell you if an existing tool would suit you better.
Will it work with my Google Calendar?
- It can. On Domestic Duties, bookings sync with Google Calendar, so the diary stays in one place.
Do you work with businesses around Stratford?
- Yes. I'm based in Birmingham, and I work with businesses across Warwickshire and the Midlands.
